The reason the blog is named "Painting...yes, you read that right...painting" is because I am not known for doing painting projects with my kids. I think that having two children the same age and another "helper" who thinks she can do what the other two do, I have been too scared to try painting. Keaira went to sleep so I put on my brave game face and wouldn't you know, Riana, Aiden, and I had fun! A friend posted a great recipe for making homemade paint with ingredients that you have around the house. Aiden enjoyed painting but I think that his favorite part was watching the FIZZ of the vinegar added to the baking soda. Riana is our resident artist so she painted and painted and painted until the paint was nearly gone. The recipe has cornstarch in it so it makes for an easy clean up (my favorite!!!) I am keeping my eyes open for other fun activities to do with the Aiden and Riana while Keaira naps and adventurous activities to do with Keaira while her brother and sister are at school.
Let me know what you come up with for other fun ideas... I'm always looking too! Jaxon loved the FIZZ too, he's asked several times if we can do it again! I just got done reading your entire blog. Keep the posts coming, so much fun to read!!! The kids are so adorable!
